Application of Sports Medicine Ultrasound in Rehabilitation of Anterior Talofibular Ligament Injury

Sports medicine ultrasound examination was performed on patients with anterior talofibular ligament injury at
different stages of rehabilitation, to provide real-time reference for the formulation of rehabilitation plans, to
explore the clinical application value of sports medicine ultrasound in the rehabilitation of anterior iliac ligament
injury. A retrospective analysis of 50 cases of unilateral anterior tibiofibular ligament incomplete resuscitation
under ultrasonic monitoring in our hospital from August 2017 to March 2019, this study was compared with 36
cases of unilateral incomplete tearing of the anterior talofibular ligament that had not been rehabilitated under
ultrasonic monitoring. The ultrasound monitoring group consisted of 28 men and 22 women. Lesions were
found in 23 cases on the left and 27 cases on the right. The control group included 23 males and 13 females. The
lesions were located in the left ankle joint in 11 cases and the right ankle joint in 25 cases. There were no signs
and symptoms of anterior talofibular ligament injury in the healthy ankle joints. The rehabilitation process of all
cases was adjusted according to patient feedback and clinical examination. Of the 50 patients, 50 (90%) fully
recovered and 5 (10%) did not. In the control group, 28 patients (77.8%) had complete recovery, and 8 patients
(22.2%) had incomplete recovery. The mean recovery time was 3~4 months. Sports medicine ultrasound can
determine the extent of the anterior talofibular ligament tear after injury, to provide the basis for clinical
treatment planning, assisting in the development of sports rehabilitation plan has greatly reduced the recovery
time of injured parts, it is of great help to the rehabilitation of ankle joint function.
