Abstract

In order to prevent the occurrence of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women as far as possible, it is necessary to
choose an effective way of exercise. This study studied the relationship between 24-style Taijiquan exercise and
bone mass change, and preliminarily explored the physiological mechanism of its effect on bone mineral density
in postmenopausal women. Through the detection and analysis of bone mineral density and related sex hormone
indexes of postmenopausal women in Taijiquan exercise group and irregular exercise group, the change
characteristics of calcaneal bone mineral density between the two groups were observed and analyzed, and the
influence of Taijiquan exercise on bone mineral density of postmenopausal women was expounded. Analyzing
the level of relevant hormone indicators and speculating the possible physiological mechanism of the influence
of Taijiquan exercise on bone mineral density of postmenopausal women, we can scientifically guide
postmenopausal women how to choose their own fitness style and how to alleviate the loss of bone mass as far
as possible, which has a positive significance for the prevention of osteoporosis.
